There are many people who prefer an Airbnb over a hotel for many reasons. Airbnb tends to be a more affordable and valuable option for people, given the benefits they receive as part of the Airbnb which sometimes cannot be gotten in a hotel. Those benefits are many and can include many perks that hotels do not offer.

An Airbnb may be more affordable in terms of price. While it may cost $50 or more dollars to stay in a hotel (and that’s the low range), it may cost much less to stay in an Airbnb. An Airbnb also has a host who can either show the person around, provide transportation for them to get around, or leave a small note about places of interest to go to.

However, an Airbnb does not have what hotels have almost by design: anonymity. An Airbnb host knows about the customer before they make a transaction to stay in the host’s apartment, condo, cabin, or house. An Airbnb host has a picture and has a rating attached to the name.

The Airbnb traveler has the same thing: All the information available save for credit cards and financial information. A hotel has anonymity, at least mostly. There is no online profile. There is no rating system. There is no picture attached to an online profile.

For hotels to compete with Airbnb locations, there must be trends in property management systems hotel industry. For property management systems hotel industry, there must be improvements and innovations in the industry to allow for more efficiency and effectiveness in managing the systems of hotel.

For hotels, property management systems hotel industry have issues that are recognizable early on. Property management systems hotel industry may have problems with the software of the system. There may be issues with bugs. There may be issues with glitches in the system.

Many people like hotels and many people like Airbnb. It is a personal decision.
